PROJECT #582: Transportation Fee for Disadvantaged Students in Homeil- 10th Year

Many remote villages in Iran only have elementary schools, and without transportation services to nearby cities for high school, many children in these areas are at risk of dropping out. The goal of this project has been to provide school transportation for underprivileged students, ensuring they can reach high school and continue their education without interruption.

Yara started this project in 2014 with five female students, and now, in 2024, the tenth year of the project, the number of children supported has grown to 205.

  • Cost: AUD $8,060
  • Number of Kids: 205
