This project supported funding for trainers at the Sayarak Toroq Child Support Centre, located in the slum area of Mashhad, Khorasan Province. The centre provides a safe educational and creative environment for over 500 children, many of whom are child labourers, or come from low-income, Afghan migrant, or single-parent families.
Through reading, art, games, storytelling, and skill-building activities, the trainers offer care, mentorship, and emotional stability for children growing up in harsh conditions. The centre has become a trusted and supportive space where children can learn, play, and regain a sense of childhood and hope.
