This project funded the salary of the library bookkeeper in the village of Kuran, supporting a small community library that serves 115 girls and boys. The bookkeeper ensured the library remained active, organized, and engaging for children.
Activities provided at the library included book registration and lending, storytelling, group reading sessions, puppet shows, drawing lessons, crafts, environmental discussions, and outdoor play. The bookkeeper also visited nearby schools to introduce the library and encourage student membership.
These activities helped foster a consistent reading culture, creativity, and joyful learning experiences for children in this remote region.
