PROJECT #359: Sports Equipment for Children Affected by Flood – Golestan 2019

This project provided sports equipment for 200 boys in the flood-affected village of Gomishan in Golestan Province. Many families had lost their homes and livelihoods, leaving children with no access to recreation, support, or safe spaces.

By supplying footballs, shoes, uniforms, and other equipment, the project helped create structured sports activities led by local coaches. These sessions offered children relief from psychological stress, restored joy and motivation, and supported their mental well-being after the disaster.

Cost: 44,500,000 Toman (≈ AUD $5,177)
Location: Gomishan Village, Golestan Province
Number of Children: 200
