Dizaj is an area at the outskirt of Hamedan, a medium size city in the west of Iran. Many families living in the area come from a lower socio-economical section of the society. Sajadie is a primary school in Dizaj with 500 students from seven to 11 years of age. Most of the students come from large families and school is the only place where most of them can engage in learning activities. An effective learning experience can be achieved by using tools and technologies which enhance teaching and learning. In working with a local representative, Yarra foundation has recognized that a video projector is a small investment which can make a big difference for the 500 students at the Sajadie school. The projector can be used in screening multimedia materials, video clips and movies. This would improve the experience of students every day during their academic career.
