I am a molecular biologist and first moved to Australia from Germany in 1998 and again in 2008. I met my wife in Australia and together in 2001 we moved back to Iran hoping to make a difference through our work.
I have two daughters, one born in Tehran and one in Melbourne.
Despite the fact that I have lived for only a relatively short period of time in Iran, I feel strongly connected to its land, people and history.
Education is the pathway to change and progress and I feel passionate about improving accessibility and quality of education for disadvantaged children through the Yarra Foundation.
