That’s an Australian way of greeting! At the University of Melbourne, I read, teach and do research on lives of viruses for a living (which is not a scientifically correct statement – they are not alive!). I enjoy my geeky life filled with reading, writing short stories, photography, cycling and recording audio books. Learning soaks my mind in such a pleasure that no other activity can compete with. And I guess that’s a common criterion among all human beings. Therefore, we are here in Yarra Foundation to try and bring down the invisible walls of poverty so that we can make sure more and more students will have the chance to enjoy the pleasure of learning regardless of their place of birth.
