Yarra Foundation
Founder, Vice President

I am currently doing research on water resources and sustainability at Monash University. I immigrated to Australia in 2010. I enjoy travelling, meeting new people from different cultures and exploring the beautiful differences people have. I love nature, and hiking is my passion. Sometimes I enjoy to express my feelings and experiences by painting. I worked for red-cross as a volunteer for some time and I had a plan to work in a developing country as an engineer, helping with improving infrastructure. For now, involvement in the Yarra Foundation has offered me the chance to help some of the most vulnerable children of my country to access their basic right, an education. Yarra, which started with Shohre’s brilliant idea of organising fundraising dinners, turned out to be a rewarding and enjoyable way of improving disadvantaged children’s education and transforming their lives.
